Julie Ann Luiz Adrian, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Practice, studies complicated grief, post-traumatic stress disorder and pharmacological therapy in humans’ response to the death of pets and animals; euthanasia in animals; canine cancer natural chemoprevention; pet therapy; economics of pharmacy and veterinary pharmacy education; the nutritional benefits and detriments of guava, Psidium guajava, tree parts as a livestock feed source; instructional design and assessment; and the impacts of veterinary experientials and communication skill enhancement on pharmacy students’ education.
