The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy (DKICP) Rho Chi, Delta Iota chapter, welcomed six new members. Rho Chi, the academic honor society in pharmacy, recognizes excellence in intellectual achievement. “The students inducted into Rho Chi are more than smart students; they have demonstrated their commitment to using their intellectual gifts to advance the profession of pharmacy and better the lives of others,” said Rae Matsumoto, dean of the college. Society president, Marvin Rositzki, and faculty advisor, Supakit Wongwiwatthananukit, presided over the induction ceremony and initiation banquet on April 28 at Hale Kiho’iho’i. The six new inductees from the DKICP Class of 2027 are: Kirsten Kasal, Kamahao Kini-Lopes, Raelynn Kiyuna, Dalena Le, Stacie Saito and Kara Yama.

The new inductees were also sworn into their leadership roles in the chapter. Outgoing Rho Chi officers and DKICP faculty who are members of the society were also present to welcome the new inductees.
