Students and faculty showcase research at recent symposium

Students and faculty gathered to share their research at a recent college symposium.

Congratulations to the 13 students and six faculty who presented their posters on in-progress or complete research at the DKICP Student Research Symposium held Saturday, April 27, 2024.

The keynote speaker was DKICP alumni Garret Hino, PharmD, BCIDP, who is a public health pharmacist and interim healthcare associated infections and antimicrobial resistance program manager with the Hawaii Department of Health’s Disease Outbreak Control Division. Hino talked about the skills he learned while doing research as a student at DKICP and how they have helped him in his career as a pharmacist.
