Mesaros chosen as NABP President-Elect

Dr. Jeffrey Mesaros is an adjunct member of the DKICP faculty.

Dr. Jeffrey Mesaros, DKICP Department of Pharmacy Practice adjunct faculty member, was elected as the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) 2023-24 President-Elect during the Association’s May 2023 meeting.

Mesaros is a member of the Florida Board of Pharmacy, and previously served a one-year term as treasurer and two years as a member of the Executive Committee. A registered pharmacist for more than 20 years, he has also been a pharmacist attorney for more than 15 years and currently teaches in the DKICP Law and Ethics course.

As a member of NABP, Mesaros has made many contributions to the NABP/American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) meetings and served as the District 3 representative on the Committee on Resolutions. In addition, Mesaros served on the Work Group on the Development of an Interstate Endorsement Credential, the Task Force on the Regulation of Pharmacy Benefit Managers, and the Task Force on the Definition of a Patient-Pharmacist Relationship. He is also active with the American Bar Association, the American Society for Pharmacy Law, and the American Pharmacists Association.

Mesaros earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy in Pennsylvania and his juris doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He received his master of science degree in pharmacy regulation and policy from the University of Florida.
