Faculty and staff are recognized for service

Several members of the DKICP faculty and staff were honored for their years of service, along with a special achievement, at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo end-of-year award ceremony.

• Dr. Shugeng Cao, professor of pharmaceutical sciences, received the campus-wide award for Excellence in Creative and Scholarly Activities.
• Recognized for 20 years of service at UH Hilo was:
  • Dr. Susan Jarvi, professor of pharmaceutical sciences
  • Lily Pua-Kaipo, secretary for the Department of Pharmacy Practice
• Recognized for 10 years of service at UH Hilo was:
  • Kris Aoki, administrative and fiscal support specialist
  • Dr. Roy Goo, associate professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice
  • Patricia Jusczak, associate specialist of pharmacy practice
  • Dr. Sheri Tokumaru, associate professor of pharmacy practice
