Two DKICP alumni present residency projects to HPhA

An annual spring gathering of the Hawaiʻi Pharmacists Association spotlighted personal projects of pharmacy residents around the state. Two alumni from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy Class of 2020 made presentations to the online gathering Friday evening, May 7.
Kamala Lizama, who is in a PGY1 residency at the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System in Honolulu, presented her project titled “VA text reminder messages for rural patients on direct oral anti-coagulants.”
Thi Hong Vo, who is in a PGY1 residency at DKICP and Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, made a presentation titled “Impact of clinical pharmacist on medication cost saving from drug therapy interventions.”
