The Vision of the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy (DKICP) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is to drive Improvement of Healthcare in Hawaiʻi and throughout the Pacific. We will achieve this vision by focusing on Hawaiʻi’s unique cultural, physical, and geographic features, by employing world-class faculty, and by graduating exceptional professionals.
Programs
Pharm.D.
The professional Doctor of Pharmacy Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and is required for licensure as a pharmacist.
Ph.D.
The Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences provides graduate training to students with a minimum of a bachelor's degree who have an interest in research.
Continuing Education
The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy is an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE). We also offer CE for APRN-Rx nurses.

Student-Centered Design
Hale Kihoʻihoʻi, a state-of-the-art 45,000 square-foot building is the new home of the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy. The building's Hawaiian name represents the restoration of the land after an eruption and lava flow.
Everything that is housed in and comes from this structure is meant to promote a restoration of both the environment and the people of Hawaiʻi, as well as the global community.
