Academic Calendar

DKICP’s academic calendar operates on a two semester schedule which slightly differs from UH Hilo’s general academic calendar.

DKICP’s Fall semester runs July 1 - December 31 and Spring semester runs January 1 - June 30. Depending on the class level of the student, the Pharmacy Practice Experiential (PPE) portion of the DKICP curriculum may fall outside these traditional dates. First Year Pharmacy Students (P1s) and Second Year Pharmacy Students (P2s) will have summer IPPE rotations. Upon completion of the third year, Fourth Year Pharmacy Students (P4s) will begin APPE rotations immediately after the didactic session in May. Dates are subject to change.
