DKICP celebrates Merit and Incentive scholarship award recipients

Merit and Incentive scholarships 2024-25

Each year, the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy (DKICP) selects student pharmacists for Merit and Incentive Award scholarships through a competitive process. The Doctor of Pharmacy students who received awards in the 2024-2025 school year were recognized at the DKICP Spring Awards Ceremony in May.

The Merit Awards recognize students who have already earned a Bachelor’s degree and exhibit exceptional academic achievements. The students are selected based on existing and continuing academic and leadership success. The recipients for this academic year are:

Class of 2025: Cierra Fujimoto, Alyssa Kam, Anaiz Ramirez, Vincent Tran, Akio Uno

Class of 2026: Tiffany Amber Agarpao, Ethan Butay, Sam He, Zachary Minato, Anuhea Sonnenberg

Class of 2027: Kelly Huang, Dalena Le, Brookelyn Madaloniz, Charlotte Powell, Stacie Saito

Class of 2028: Angel Calaro, Ethel Guillermo, Matthew Inaba, Katherine Parker, Melanie Pascua, Emily Yu

The Incentive Award scholarships take into consideration motivation, community service and leadership. Focused scholarship designations were added for the Class of 2028 which recognizes leadership, community engagement, commitment to pharmacy practice, and pharmaceutical sciences research. The recipients for this academic year include:

Class of 2026: Marvin Rositzki, Yukino Sugihara

Class of 2027: Kamahao Kini-Lopes, Raelynn Kiyuna, Cruz Marin, Kara Yama

Class of 2028: Shayden Aoyagi, Alexa Arcega, Alyysa Fulinara, Meghan Matsuoka, Paola Olvera Munoz, Quyen Nguyen, Dez Pagatpatan, Katherine Parker, Emily Yu
