This survey course is designed to give students an introduction to basic management and marketing concepts that will be encountered in their professional careers.  Professional development activities will also be introduced during specific lecture topics.

Topics will include medication-use systems, pharmacy finance, hospital management, retail management, conflict management and resolution, strategic planning, business planning for pharmacy and clinical operations, continuous quality improvement, marketing and promotion, entrepreneurship and innovation, leadership, and personal professional development.
