College of Pharmacy’s 10th annual health fair offers health care options

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo’s Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy will present the 10th Annual Health Fair on Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo.

The annual Health Fair is the College of Pharmacy’s largest community outreach event. Members of the public are invited to visit educational health care booths and obtain health screenings, including blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index (BMI) tests. Vaccinations provided by CVS Pharmacy will be available.

Kāwili Lā‘au Summer 2018 Edition Now Available

In the summer edition of Kāwili Lā‘au, DKICP connects with Hawaiian culture with the arrival of the Hōkūlea wayfaring canoe in the Hilo harbor. As we celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2018, we appreciate and identify with the fortitude of the early explorers who discovered our islands and congratulate the newest class of Pharm.D. graduates from DKICP.

UH Hilo student pharmacists selected in national residency competition first round

Student pharmacists from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo were “matched” with residency programs in round one of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Matching Program. More students from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy (DKICP) have a chance to apply and be placed when the second group of matches is announced after April 12.
