Justin Reinicke, M.S.
Justin Reinicke is the instrument specialist for the analytical instrument facility at the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Justin received a Master of Science in Marine Science from Hawaii Pacific University. During his undergraduate and graduate studies at Hawaii Pacific University, Justin managed a Natural Products Chemistry lab that utilized instrumentation such as: High Performance Liquid Chromatograph, Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer, Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometer and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer.
As the instrument specialist for the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy, Justin is responsible to maintain the analytical instrumentation and infrastructure at the analytical instrument facility. The instrument associated with the facility includes: two Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectrometers (NMR), three Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers (LC-MS); Quadrupole-Time of Flight (LC-MS), Single Quadrupole (LC-MS), Ion Trap (LC-MS), Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS) Triple quadrupole, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FT-IR), Ultraviolet/Visible Spectrometer (UV/Vis), Circular Dichroism Spectrometer (CD), Polarimeter and two liquid nitrogen generators.
