Lyssa Sakamoto, A.A., B.A. x2, M.A.
Lyssa Sakamoto received her AA in Liberal Arts from Hawaii Community College in 2007. She transferred to UH Hilo in Spring 2008. There she received her BA in Administration of Justice and Sociology in Spring 2010. In 2012, she received her MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Upon graduation, she worked as a Student Success Advisor under Career Development Services and the Advising Center from 2012-2014. Then she worked as a Academic Advisor with the Advising Center, from 2014-2017.
Currently, Lyssa Sakamoto advises pre-pharmacy students who are interested in pursing their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) She is also the advisor for the Pre-Pharmacy Club and assisting Dr. Linda Connelly with coordination of IS 201 course (Pre-Pharmacy Orientation).
