Daniela Gundisch, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Dr. Gundisch received her Ph.D. from the Pharmaceutical Institute of Tubingen, Germany in 1992 and gained her postdoctoral lecture qualification in pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry from the Pharmaceutical Institute of Bonn, Germany in 2004. She has been lecturing in pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry at the Pharmaceutical Institute of Bonn since 1998. Dr. Gundisch has received numerous awards and nominations throughout her career, including the Rottendorf Award for Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2007. She is an active member of the German Society for Nuclear Medicine (Radiopharmacy), the German Society of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry, Radiopharmacy), as well as the American Chemical Society (Medicinal Chemistry), and the Society for Neuroscience. She has served as a member of the jury for “Jugend forscht”, a German competition in natural sciences for young students.
