Mark W. Fitch, B.S.

Director of Pharmaceutical Innovation and Facility Planning

Mr. Fitch received his bachelors of science in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences from Purdue University. He later attended Northeastern University where he earned his advanced management certificate. Mr. Fitch has a broad background in operations and technical management of conventional and state-of-the-art pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and abroad. His industrial proficiency is derived from his experience at several leading pharmaceutical companies such as The Upjohn Company, Schering-Plough Corp., and Knoll Pharmaceutical Company. Most recently, Mr. Fitch held the position of executive vice president of manufacturing operations with Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., located in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he was responsible for pharmaceutical production, packaging, facilities engineering, maintenance, safety, security, training and technical support at plant sites in Morgantown, WV and Caguas, Puerto Rico. He also acted as technical liaison to sites in Vermont and Texas. In total, Mr. Fitch directly and indirectly managed over 2,000 employees and oversaw the continuous expansion of plant and office facilities to meet strategic corporate goals and sales forecast. Mr. Fitch has served on the Deans Advisory Council for Purdue University School of Pharmacy where he is also recognized as distinguished alumnus. He is a past chairman of the PMA cGMP Committee and former member of the PMA Purified Water Committee.
