Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE)

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR HAWAII RESIDENTS: Residents of the State of Hawaii planning to attend pharmacy school are eligible to apply for financial support through WICHE's Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP). Please note that the University of Hawaii at Hilo's UHH) College of Pharmacy is NOT a participating institution at this time. When the UHH College of Pharmacy achieves full accreditation status expected in June of 2011), Hawaii residents will no longer be eligible for WICHE support in the field of pharmacy, because they will have a fully accredited public pharmacy school where they will be charged resident tuition by virtue of the Hawaii residency (UHH). Hawaii students who have already enrolled in pharmacy studies at other cooperating institutions through WICHE's PSEP will continue receiving support for the duration of their studies (up to four years). Once the University of Hawaii at Hilo's (UHH) College of Pharmacy is fully accredited, it will be invited to become a cooperating PSEP school for students in other states still funding in pharmacy (Alaska and Nevada).
