Roy Goo

Associate Professor

Roy Goo is an associate professor and chair of pharmacy practice working out of Wilcox Memorial Hospital on the island of Kaua’i. Dr. Goo’s primary areas of concentration are rural health and program development.

Dr. Goo was born and raised on the island of Oahu and obtained his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.

Dr. Goo works closely with Hawaii Department of Health through his involvement with various collaboratives and workgroups including the Hawai‘i Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative (HASC), Women’s Health Work Group and the Opioid Abuse Prevention Strategic Planning Committee (OPSPC).

In his free time Dr. Goo enjoys surfing, traveling and spending time with his wife, two sons and a menagerie of animals.
