Jarred Prudencio, PharmD
Dr. Jarred Prudencio was born and raised in Hilo, HI. He completed pre-pharmacy prerequisite courses at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and received his Pharm.D. degree from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy in 2015. He then completed a post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) residency at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA, which had an emphasis on ambulatory care and included a teaching certificate program.
Dr. Prudencio joined the DKICP faculty in August 2016, and has a clinical practice site as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at the Hawaii Island Family Medicine Clinic. His practice efforts focus on chronic disease state treatment and comprehensive medication management. In addition to precepting APPE students on ambulatory care rotations, he teaches didactic lectures on topics relating to chronic disease states and clinical drug information.
